2013 NSERC Discovery Accelerator Supplements Program Results are Announced

NSERC has announced the 2013 competition results for the Discover Accelerator Supplements (DAS) Program. $15 million was awarded to 125 applicants, including Dr. James Olson, Director of the Pulp and Paper Centre. Receiving the additional resources speaks to the importance and innovative work being conducted by Dr. Olson titled “Towards an Engineering Design Tool for Advanced Fibre Products”. NSERC notes that the resources may be used to expand the recipient’s research group, to purchase, or to have access to, specialized equipment, or for other initiatives/resources that would accelerate the progress of their research program.
