The Pulp and Paper Centre and Canfor wish to announce the 2013 competition in the Canfor Pulp Grants Program. As you may recall, this program supports research at UBC in collaboration with Canfor Pulp Limited Partnership.
One of the intentions of this unique program is to build a stronger relationship between Canfor, one of BC’s largest companies, and UBC. The grant is for $75,000 over 3 years and is eligible for NSERC-CRD matching funds up to an additional $150,000.
The objectives and priorities of the program as well as information on the application procedure are given on the Canfor Pulp web site:
www.canforpulp.com/community/grants.
The proposals are typically short and free form. Please note that the deadline for proposals is 30 June 2013.
If you have any questions about the program or Canfor or how to collaborate with Canfor please do not hesitate to contact me.
