Dr. John R. Grace is appointed as an Officer of the Order of Canada

Dr. John R. Grace, Professor at the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering, and Faculty Associate at the Pulp and Paper Centre, has been appointed as an Officer of the Order of Canada. The award was announced by His Excellency, the Right Honourable David Johnston, Governor General of Canada, and awarded for Dr. Grace’s contributions as a chemical engineer, notably to the development of cleaner technology for industrial processes and energy production.
The Order of Canada is one of Canada’s highest civilian honours and recognizes a lifetime of outstanding achievement, dedication to community, and service to Canada. The Officer of the Order of Canada recognizes a lifetime of achievement and merit of a high degree, especially in service to Canada or to humanity at large.
The Pulp and Paper Centre would like to congratulate Dr. John Grace on this achievement.
